Pale Ale malt serves as a base malt; this grain can be used up to 100% of the grist and suits a wide variety of beers. Weyermann uses high-quality two-row barley for this grain that has distinct ‘English’ characteristics. It will impart complex malt flavours that consist of dried fruits, honey and bread. While customarily known to work with all types of ales, this malt has also been known to make excellent lager-style beers.
