S-05 is one of the most well-known yeast variants in the dry yeast world. This is because it is the perfect yeast to use for American style Pale Ales and IPA’s. Designed to be fermented from 18°C to as high as 28°C (64-82°F) this is what is considered a ‘neutral yeast.’ This means that is doesn’t produce many flavours, letting the hops be the showcase of the beer. S-05 Is able to be used in beers up to 11% ABV.
