East Kent Golding Pellet Hops

Wildly known as the archetypal English hops, Goldings has been used for hundreds of years. Used in English-style pale ales, dark ales and even porters. Goldings will give you a gentle, earthy bitterness; however, it is mainly used for aroma. The characteristics wouldn't seem strange in an old English kitchen with lavender, thyme, spices and honey often being noted. Perhaps a reason it has been a staple for so long.
